When it’s cold outside, buyers want to step into a home that feels warm, welcoming and comfortable. Highlight features that enhance cosiness, such as a working fireplace or wood-burning stove. Soft furnishings like fluffy rugs, throws and cushions can instantly elevate the atmosphere. Subtle sensory touches also help: the smell of baked treats or fresh coffee can make your home feel inviting and memorable. As viewers arrive bundled up in coats and scarves, your home should feel like a comforting escape from the winter chill.
